The original Cisitalia 202 revolutionised Italian sports car design in 1947, with a tubular chassis and aerodynamic handcrafted bodyshell with a philosophy of power to weight ratio laying the foundation of todays mordern sports cars DNA.

The vision of Piero Dusio our founder and designed by Giovanni Savonuzzi our Technical Director the Cisitalia 202 SMM, Berlinetta and Aerodinamica were designed as a pure bred aerodynamic racing cars for the first post-war 1947 Mille Miglia embodying the perfect fusion of power to weight ratio. Cisitalia's 202 GT Coupe flowing lines and organic curves were further refined by Battista Pininfarina and declared at launch at the 1947 Paris Motor Show as rolling sculpture on wheels and then first displayed in the MoMA in 1951
